It depends on where you live, what type of sailing you want to do and what your level of skill is...

Login Name, i've just returned to windsurfing after 10 years and still got it and now trying to get my brother back into it.

for flat water freeride or slalom the river is good, melville water in applecross or pelican point in nedlands. just depands on where you life and how far you're willing to drive.

For ocean easy would be pinnaroo point whitfords and Ocean reef north of mullaloo (for a bit more swell) also Leighton beach freo. otherwise anywhere along the coast that provides a nice rig up area and launch zone.

as Windtasy questioned where do you live and what type of sailing. I've seen some slalom riders hit the swell to see what they can do either survive or go to trash their kit.

if you're got some time drive north for and hour and a half to Lancelin which is another good spot. Plus this weekend is the Ledge to Lancelin classic

go for a drive where there is water and explore. it's not a bad coastline

Good point, I should of put abit more info down, I'm here in Perth, and sailing is mid level, nail 3/4 of gybes and currently learning vulvans so I can do jumps alright.
I usually go to Pelican Point when the winds blown from the South, I've sailed at Scarbs and Woodies but I'm just taking punts on the wind being correct for those spots as I'm unsure of the main spots for each type of wind.
Usually Woodies is as far as I go as don't know of any other places, I prefer choppy over flat, hope this helps

churs fellas
