After leaving work at 3 and going to a couple of appointments i was on the water by 430,

wind was a bit up and down but there was some awesome sets coming in at my local,

Managed to catch the most epic wave of my life, i cant even remember how many bottom turns i got on it but it was loads. i was so stoked afterwards i sailed straight into the shore and jumped for joy haha!

after that the wind went just a bit too east so i came in.

Who else got out and scored it good?

Have you ever noticed that when someone does that, it's really played down and kept quiet by the media.

it happens once a week in perth. this time they just managed to bring the whole city to a halt and ruin plenty of ppls day who were at the train station at the time.
but yer its a media thing to not report it, apparently suicide is contagious??

Where was Mav sailing?

Mets was nothing special, a few ok (small) waves came through, but most where one hit wonders.

Greenie how was Mandurah? worth the drive?

I wondered why the traffic was getting near gridlock. The tunnel was backed up to Great Eastern Hwy. God knows what it was like on the western side.

You gotta feel for the poor bloody train drivers though. They seem like the real victims to me.

Sat at Dutchies from 12.30 to 1.30 waiting waiting waiting and gave up to go to work just down the road

Looked at the graphs when I got home and as Sods Law would have it the wind kicked in at 3.00 ... start time for me at work was 3.00

I was sailing at Binningup mate, the waves were fairly small by comparison but still allot of fun for me! the place only works on a +2mt swell or 2 days of 20Kts plus, and a sw - sse wind over 20kts. then its on! I like it there, and the reef is sooo long on a good day ( albeit rare ) you can get awesome DTL rides i reckon 100mts or so.

Yeah a very selfish act. Distressing for train drivers, onlookers, people that find them, people that have to clean up the mess and remaining family members. Anger turned inwards.

yeah tuesday was great! i finished work early to head up to lano, the swell was pumping but the wind was a little lame so i thought id head up to cervantes way. the traffic was so bad at the road works i decided to turn around and get stuck in them all again on the way to a break just south of cervantes. got there and got mauled by zillions of sand flies (counted 70+ bites, no ****) the wind was fairly marginal, planing 30% of time on 5.8. after i cut my foot on the reef, i thought it was time to go home after 45 mins out and drove 200ks back to perth! fantastic! i am not going out until the seabreezes kick in now out of protest...take that wind!

was at lano on Tuesday from around midday - 4.30pm. South P was closing out and the sets at main break was well over mast high.

The wind was marginal (was half planing for abt 0.2 secs) and not really worth battling the waves...

All in all a nice day in the sun but not really worth the drive.. (guess I should have gone surfing a few kms further north)

Went round to tombstones earlier on that day to check it out, guys were getting rides on seriously mast high waves, sometimes they had to come in because there was no way they could gybe and get back out over the whitewater. Kiters seemed to be getting into the more critical sections compared to the windsurfers but that could have been just when I was looking at it.

I went round the bay, bit overpowered on my 4.5, messy confused waves that were too gnarly for this little black duck so stayed out of the wave zone. Other days were sweet though
