I have got the next two weeks off and was thinking about driving somewhere for some wind as there isn't going to be much in Perth but I am not wanting to stay overnight so it can't be to far away.

You could try sailing the fronts at shoalwater on saturday (round the corner from safety bay) or sail safety bay if theres a south westerly direction.

not too far away from perth at all, but its a start...
