On the basis of another top offering from Huey (currently W therefore wrong direction and 10 knots) we will defer until next week.
However if you want to get the formula kit out there will be a few like minded individuals down there.

So Windforce Wednesday starts Weds 23rd November Huey permitting.

At least the party on Friday doesn't depend on the wind

Well at least we have had some wind but the forecast for Weds is dreadful again so we will try for a start on the 30th.

I was going to have a crack at the slalom this season. Who or what do we need to sacrifice to appease the wind gods????

This is getting depressing.
After looking at the forecast and talking to Windforce we are going to have to cancel Weds slalom for this week, sorry.
We will try again for next week. 7th December.

The forecast for the downwinder on Sunday is also looking unsailable so unless it changes we will not be holding the event.

Keep your fingers crossed.

WWA should schedule less events.
Every time they have an event planned there is no wind.

More seriously, I feel for the organisers who put a lot of time and effort into putting together a great calendar only to have it come to naught.

Well we finally got started.
Round 1 saw 14 sailors on the water and 5 single lap heats completed all with timed starts.
Jesper won 4 out of 5 with Rowen and Blair in the running.
Hope Claude's cobbled foot is recovering. Looked nasty.

Thanks to Windforce for the Pizza and refreshments
See you next week.

Round 4 saw some great SE wind to give a high speed 2 lap course and back to back heats to really test the fitness.
Gybing in the middle of the Swan Ocean proved a challenge but made for exciting racing.
Rowen and Jonah fighting it out for top spot with plenty of competition for the minor placings from Claude and Shane.
Even the race director took part until he tried to sail through the mark rather than round it!
A long drag across the river provided variety before some well deserved pizza and coldies thanks to Windforce
Hope fully we get some more for the last couple of weeks.

Round 5 results

1. Jesper
2. Rowen
3. Claude
4. Shane
5. Blair due to a DSQ in the 2nd
6. Nic
7. Premo
8. Sean
9. John G
10.Peter H

Thanks to all the competitors that have taken part this season and a huge thanks to our sponsor Windforce for keeping us fed and watered.
