Are Summer school hols as mayhem in WA these days as they are in NSW? Every possible campground and accommodation spot booked out and overflowing etc?

It's certainly busier, but nearly always space available, especially in the smaller towns up the coast. South is probably harder to find accommodation.

Some towns have overflow camping (like cervantes) that opens when the caravan park is full. So provided you don't mind camping at the footy oval, you never need to book.

Nightmare.

Deff dont come to WA in summer. All caravan parks are overrun with mullet bogans and screaming kids. Also, given recent events the summer sea breezes have been cancelled indefinitely.
