Where is the best place to sail when it is a South Easterly?
I usually only sail South Westerlies. I am such a wind snob, but at the moment the days I can sail there is no wind or the wrong direction.
I did see photo of the narrows as a possible SE sailing area.
This weekend is looking a little light for a sail but hopefully the wind gods will decide to blow.

peli point

south perth

and not to mention a certain bridge at night...

My opinion is that Peli pt will get the strongest wind out of all of these as biggest fetch

Thanks everyone
I am heading to Mandurah in January so Novara will definitely on the agenda.
Being South of the river maked pelican point hard to get to in the traffic.
Though I use to sail across from Melville waters.
Woodies sounds good.
Hopefully I will get a sail tomorrow at Melville if the sw comes in.

Albany for flat water sailing and Esperance for wave sailing!

South coast has been blowing hard for at least the past week, 15-30 knot easterlies nearly every day and forecast for Albany this weekend is for much of the same.

Yes maybe 25m-50m :) There is a lot of light from the bridge which helps. It its SE wind you need to sail a bit further off as its shielded by the grassy knoll.

Need to be careful of the boats/ ferries.. and fish...
