Whereabouts in Perth will you be?
Where do you plan to sail?
How much do you weigh?

Hard to tell without knowing your weight and location. Open water generally has more wind than the river. Last season, on sailable days in Safety Bay we had wind ranging 18-28 knots generally, mostly low 20's in Feb. Then considerably less windy in March/April.

Very little if any wind in April.

March - the seabreezes are well and truly on the way out and are generally less than 20 knots when they do come in.

February - the seabreezes are not as frequent as Nov /Dec but can still be strong.

Potential for a good easterly in Albany that time of year. Lilacs is a Magic spot for speedsailing. Take your ff98, 6.2, 7.1 and a delta fin. Longer drive than you wanted, but it's worth it!!
