Hi all,
I'm (hopefully) going to be entering the Ledge to Lano for the first time.
I'm an ok sailor on a wave or freestyle board, but I've got virtually no experience of trying to go fast downwind. In fact I've spent most of my sailing career sailing finless wonders upwind.
I remember a post from Reflex Films a while back about putting harness lines back, straps outboard and mast foot back but I can't find it. Is that about it?
Equipment: JP Xcite Ride 120 (borrowed), Severne Blade 6.2 (biggest) or a 5.2 SWAT (unlikely, given the forecast), waist harness - obviously I'm not going to be threatening for the lead!
Heading out this afternoon and tomorrow to have an experiment with the set-up, but I'd welcome any thoughts that might help me through.
Cheers!
That's harness lines forward, not back, no no no no!
