The sailboard group is growing strongly at FSC. We now have 4 regular youth sailors on Bic Techno 293's and another 4 or 5 RSX's training with Arthur Brett and racing regularly.

We'd love to see a few Formula sailors join us on Friday afternoons off South Beach.

Unfortunately, Eamon, one of our regular Techno sailors broke his ankle in an ocean race on a yacht on Saturday & he'll be out of action for at least 3 months.

We have a couple of 12yr olds involved at the moment. We also have their mums & dads.

We start them off playing in the pond in front of the club until they are confident enough to launch off the beach just south of the dinghy clubhouse.

Training sessions out on the ocean are usually friday afternoons and sunday mornings. The kids play around on just about any old floater, the guys in the training squads are sailing RSX, Techno 293 or Formula Boards.

PM me for more detailed info.

We have kids from 12yrs playing in the pond inside the club's harbour on old dinosaur boards. We also have a couple of mums & dads as well.

Once they are confident enough they move out on to the ocean, launching from the dog beach just south of the dinghy clubhouse.

We have regular training squads out on the ocean on Friday afternoons and Sunday mornings. Most of our guys sail, RSX, Techno 293 and Formulas.

PM me for more info.

How much weed is their usually at freo? Has some issues last time I was there.. a 70cm fin tends to catch a lot of weed.
