I figured if MH mob could have a thread so could the Pinnas, given the current injury list information on Hospital emergency departments and 24 hour doctors might be the most appropriate.

Isnt the body a wonderful thing, all repaired and ready to go.

Nar, I am up and running again.
Dunno bout Lao Shi, he said ten days til stitches come out, That will teach him to pick on boondies with his foot, but reckon if it gets a tad squashed air, he will be back out.
TonyC, hasn't been out for a while, new job I think.

Who else is bung? have I missed somebody crashing and burning?

Anybody else heading up to Cervantes, besides me?

Hey Mineral, yeah new job - just had a big board spill and a takeover going on (very dirty TO) - anyway have resigned following half the board and what remains etc etc. So on the lookout now and have plenty of time as of yesterday.

On the family front both C situations have now turned out great - so things there are fantastic, considering we thought we were going to get a repeat of a year ago.

About time i HTFU, get on the water and see if I can improve some skills (and hopefully times). Are you all going to Cervantes - weather only looks good for Sunday - how good is it up there and can I just rock up and join in or are there eliminations etc on Saturday?

Great to hear about Jack the Dancer not showing up
Pity about the job, but plenty more work out there for your skills

Cervantes. No trials, no nothing, just show up. I am heading up early in morning, most happens Sat with a get together evening at pub. Its all just a fun thing, join in, watch the spills, sail if you want, as long as you want, or sit around bumping the gums about who's quick who isn't, when your catching a breather.
Sunday, not sure what happens as the only time I went, was was tin fruited next day but if no breeze Sat, then will hang about a bit. Anyway taking big gear as well

From how the sky etc looks right now in Leeman, there will be a seabreeze up here today I guess 18-20..... not 100% about Cervantes as it is 100km away but it looks OK

No wind
Never mind, it was a great spot for a weekend of just catching up with a lot of people. So wished I had a formula to play on, as its a long way for no actual good sailing. Was a good turn out

Stitches out yesterday.
Doc says leave it a week before getting out on the water
Need to have a crack at Nmile and distance.
Who is available next week?

Yeah probably available!
Although I'm super keen to take on Pt Walter again now that I have the Koncept up and running after repairs.
I'll say I'll be at peli if it's less than 20 knots or the direction's not right for PW.
Either way I'll try to support you alphas, but PW is no good for NM's.

Might hit Pinnaroo this arvo!

How cool - you can edit the title of the thread

Ill do my best to get on the water, have an appointment with a sparky so will have to see how that goes.

Work got in the way last week - was all revved up for Thursday and then couldn't get out there -not normal for me but it happens.

So count me in for some backups.

If its over 18-20 I'll be out - any time after midday so will go for nm, distance etc to provide some sort of backup for you guys. Unfortunately still only have the 93 S-Type and 6.2 Blade atm and I can't get the S-Type to boogie below 18 knts. Can't wait to get my hands on an iS122 and some larger sails - soon, very soon.

Thinking maybe I will head down to Hardies, get there about 12-1pm? and go for 1 hour,Nmile and distance.
If the breeze builds, then anything can happen I suppose, but want one last run down there before winter hits and it all goes pear shaped

I'll probably be at Hardies too. I will definately have a good crack at Nm. Not sure if I'll be there long enough to do distance.

If it doesn't fill in there then I might try for a wave at Avalon without my GPS.

The next few days are strong easterlies. Anyone know where to sail in the estuary in this direction? I've found some potential speed spots on Google earth...

Cheers

Not much of a wave around, it was around knee high and only the odd one actually breaking this morning when I had a bit of a look.
