I know Qantas says in the blurb no windsurfers on Domestic flghts due to mast length and also the plane to Gerro is small, so to stop any probs if I want to check 2 booms and a sail or 2 in my stowed baggage allowance what should I check it in as, I thought maybe a surfboard....... any funny or constructive advice really appreciated to avoid trouble and excess baggage charges after 36 hours of travelling.
