Just a heads up- the City of Perth now runs the Pelican Point - JH Abrahams Reserve car park.
So pop your money in the machine otherwise its $60.

for those feeling sympathetic see my gofundmystupidity website and donate.

ps. you thought the dog warning sign in the rigging area was bad wait till you see the new rubbish bin.

Thanks for heads-up. I saw a couple of rangers over-zealously booking cars there last week.

All these problems are nothing compared to that f$cking big boat though!

The uni owns the large carpark at the other end of Hacket drive, and they've decided to turn 2/3rds of it into something else. Hopefully Perth city council don't try to cash in on all the uni students looking for parking now.

I can't wait for the day I drive in and it's choc a bloc with uni students coz the councils changed it to all day ticket parking

Yeah Subsonic, it is new fancy living quarters for full fee paying international Uni student I have heard. I am sure it will take the better part of summer to build! I think a small amount of the public parking will remain though.

I cant see the council going easy on Uni students and making the rest of parking cheaper with all day tickets!! It is a pain after work as we have to pay for the first hour or so now :(

Some one needs to do something about the Pelican Charter boat. It seems that the mooring has moved a bit and is now deeper into the 'channel' coming from the boat ramp. It is certainly right in the way of my preferred gybing spot

Well there is currently public comment open for usage / speed limit changes for large craft in that area.

Fill in the survey and comment upon large craft moorings...
