Patrik Slalom Series - Round 3 - Safety Bay Yacht Club

This weekend is the 3rd round of the Patrik Slalom series.

Register via the Windsurfing WA web site (close midnight Friday) We will running an Open fleet and a Free Ride fleet with the Free Ride fleet limited to non cammed sails and is design to give people a taste of racing without needing to buy full blown slalom kit.

Entire Series = $45 (6 rounds are planned) Single Round = $10

OK what is everyone's thoughts on the forecast? Wind or no wind?

Given the time of year (everyone is double booked) it would be good to make an early call so we are not sitting around on the beach wasting brownie points.

I'm happy to go down and hope we get some racing in. I'm gonna head down that way in hope of a sail anyway. If we get 14/15 knots we can get going with big gear. I understand if others have committments though. :)

Like Madlad I'm keen to head down and see what we get.

I don't have a strife and family though, so however it rolls...

I can't see there being enough wind to race so I reckon I'll give it a miss

Current forecast a bit light ..? Maybe a reschedule ??

I don't fancy sitting around in troughed out conditions in 35deg heat waiting for dogey light seabreeze to fill I.

What do the weather experts think?

Due to the poor forecast for Saturday, the call has been made to CANCEL the Patrik Slalom Series - Rnd 3.

Please spread the word.

We will look at potentially rescheduling but the calendar is very full and there are still plenty of rounds to go.
