Used to be a regular summer visitor to the west but havn't been in years. Since I have to take some holidays before Feb, thought I might make a trip of it.

If I take the "bring harness only" option, what are my gear rental options? Is there anyone hiring gear straight off the beach? I'm just looking for mid-range stuff, nothing spectacular, for some easy-does-it wavesailing.

If you are in Lancelin then I think Werner's hire centre is probably still there. I think someone (sorry can't remember which shop it is) operates from Pelican Point with gear to hire. At Safety Bay, WA Surf should be able to hire you gear.

I guess it all depends on where you are.
