Daft question as it depends upon sailor weight, but I am struggling to get my packed gear under 30kg and am thinking I might have to leave a sail behind. I was planning on bringing a 4.2 / 4.7 and 5.3m.

I suspect at 75kg I will use the 4.7 and 5.3 more than the 4.2?

You can always buy a second hand sail in WA. There is plenty of kit on Seabreeze and most of the shops in Perth and Gero have descend used sails fro not not much money. Also some of the sponsored riders might start selling gear as well.

Looking at the airline excess baggage charges it does look like that is the best option
