If anyone hears or sees anything please let me know
Sorry to hear that. Make sure you file a police report for the stolen gear. I have a fan stolen here in Sydney a few years ago with plenty of windsurf and kite gear inside.
I reported all the contents along with the car. 2 days later they found the windsurf kit dumped in a back alley. Police managed to track me down based on my police report. The kite kit was gone and I took that as a sign... never picked up another kite again.
2 weeks later they found car while attending to a break and enter at a motorcycle dealership.
From what the police said stuff like windsurf equipment is rarely stolen these days as it's almost impossible to shift. It's usually taken because it's inside the vehicle at the time of theft.
Just got a call from the cops, they did a raid on a house in Port Kennedy this morning and the Ute has been found with all gear still in back. Happy Again, did not care about the ute just the gear

Ask for the address so we can pay them a kind visit.....

And many thanks to the cops involved for a quick turn-around! (who said they're never around when you need em?)
Grateful to get the car back but it did take 5 days, 10 phone calls and 4 visits to the cop shop including the last 1 being a 2 hour marathon sit in in the waiting room. Still waiting for the gear though, have an appointment for tomorrow so hopefully can identify it and get it all back.
Thanks to Slowy and the others for the offer of the lend of some gear when I visited the pond this arvo
