Hi All,
I had a slight malfunction of Port beach 24/10/15 and lost my RRD 105 slalom board and 38 vector fin.
Last seen at 1630 about 1.2 NM of Leighton beach heading south!!!!
Thankfully John Naughton gave me a tow in with my rig.
If you find it I would be greatfull if you gave me a call

Craig most things lost out near Rotto end up around Seabird to Lancelin.

Given the wind in the next day or so, I reckon it will move quite far north from that spot....... so I estimate you are looking at Pinnas to Yanchep.
Thus I reckon it is worth ringing all the cop shops say Scarbs to Lancelin, and the Water Police

good luck.....

Definitely need to call the police
Just to ensure no land and sea searches are made if someone reports a board washing up with no rider.

Without knowing the full story, I have to ask, why pick your rig over your board?

Especially being that far out. I would have thought the board was a safer option.

Hi Craig, A workmate mentioned today that he removed your board from the surf early Sunday morning and left it on the beach at Swanbourne just South of the Swanbourne drain (massive concrete block sticking out of beach) - As it is pretty isolated I just went and checked there but no luck. City of Perth SLSC or Swanbourne SLSC might be able to help. It is a pretty long walk for anyone to carry it out.
Cheers

Excellent! Pleased to hear there are honest people who return found items.
I was thinking we should all put our mobile number or drivers licence number on our boards to make it easier.

Not a bad idea. Kiters all do it, given they lose their boards so often...
