does anyone know if Lancelin Ocean Classic 2019 is happening? As there is no info online, I highly doubt it

There has been some significant changes since the event this year. The Lancelin Chamber of Commerce has taken back control of the event at the end of the event companies contract. WWA had initial talks with the Chamber earlier this year but we are waiting to hear what their plans are too. Will keep you posted if we hear anything.

Thank god. They did a great job for 20yrs+, so cross fingers.....

But part of the reason they went to an event management company some 6 yrs ago was that it was getting too much for 6 volunteers to organise....... so I hope if they need help everyone will dive in
