The weed in Lano is worse than normal at the moment. Last weekend we wondered how amusing this could be making the finish of the LOC now finishing at Grace Darling.

Seriously guys, that looks like too much fun..

Now that could really make it worth going. Two or three years ago there were so many stacks at the end it would have made a great video montage.
THIS could be extra special!

That is if people make it that far. Gotta get past the weedbanks and reef lumps all over the place without hitting them before you can be lucky enough to wade through the seaweed soup full of cobbler.

Just put the finish back where it belongs LOC people



(But I have heard the weed will be temporarily moved)

I looked at one tide "forecast" and it showed a quite low one of .6m high tide at 7pm and about 0.5 at 2pm (tides4fishing.com/au/western-australia/lancelin)

Not sure how accurate it is, the Gero and Fremantle forecasts looked quite different with about a 1m high tide on that day.

Do wonder about that shallow inside reef if the tide is a bit low, will depend which bit of beach they put the finish on I suppose.
