I think Windsurfing Association needs to have a good look at what has happened at Pinaroo Point with the Kiting & Jet Ski's. It has got way out of hand to a point where there is no dedicated windsurfing area left for anyone to sail.Go down for a quiet sail and you have to doge the Jet Ski's, & Kiting lines around your ankles over the entire Beach from North to South. Safety for normal swimmers has become a problem. Does anyone have a good solution?

It's not too bad (i sail there around 90 times a year) - if you want more space, sail downwind to kallaroo beach to the north.

Adam, the jet skis have been there for a long time, that's those orange buoy markers just out from the shoreline, normally they give the windsurfers a wide berth.
However, despite all efforts, some drongo's just don't get it re kite area, and continually drift or scream off down away from a designated kite area, and cause havock with windsurfers. I think the kite school does its best to maintain order, but in the end, the writing is on the wall, and the school will be closed re safety concerns local shire authority. If it's a kite school student wondering off down wind, soon as you talk to the instructors, they will get them back up wind toot sweat. But agree, it's a pain in the coit.
