Before I chuck a couple of kilwell 460 mast top halves away are they of any use to anyone or just rubbish?

I'm sure that the land yacht fraternity would gladly take them off your hands, I'll put in a link for them to find you.

Any idea what they are, i.e. old fibreglass, or carbon matrix 3 or matrix 5.
Personally I think the matrix 5s were one of the best masts ever, but I've got the single piece variety, (still going strong from about 13 years ago). Don't think I can use just tops.

If they're fibreglass, wave slave had a some of basses.

Contact "Lynda WA" from this forum thread, they would be great for the school project she is working on.

Cranky-
I have sent youy a personal email regarding the mast tops- I can pick them up and get them to Pauls (AKA landyacht) drop off point in Carine.

Paul has been converting sails for Lynda's school students in kambalda.

They are building a batch of mini landyachts as a school project.

Any sails and masts (or pieces of) are very much appreciated.

all the best,

stephen.

Boy I stuffed that sentence up didn't I? seems like Lynda's project will make good use of them, not even sure if the slave still has those basses, it's a while ago since he windsurfed.
In fact it's possible Paul has already have picked them up.
