Yeah but last year's first teaser was about late Sept - not late winter

One of my spies in Shark Bay said wind is in 5 weeks early, and more like a typical windy seabreeze pattern, first one in about 3 to 4 years he said?

That's what we have had here - warm day, SE all morning then a 8-10kn SSW from about 1pm onwards. A few times.
Not a gradient wind, it is a proper seabreeze pattern very early on.

We've had about 5 seabreeze days in gero so far
Not windy enough to plane all the time but good swell this time of year.
Looking good for this summer.

I'm not superstitious....

There was mention of spring starting to show a El Nino weather pattern. It's about time we saw a proper WA windy summer again. I am getting sick of using 8m sails and the small ones haven't been out of their bags for a few years.

It will be a good summer this year on the East and West coasts after the dreary summers we've had over the last couple of years.

Too right it will

But there must be a few superstitious sorts around, given the red thumbs here and also for Eppo's post in the kindergarten kiter forum
