I was on a 4.5 race sail,87 litre Patrik and my smallest fin a 30 Vector EX and i was way overpowered.

Nearly every one kilometre run at Melville i had to walk downwind 100 metres.

Even Chris said it is not easy staying downwind. He was on a 5.8 - 25 weed fin and his 98 litre.

35 knots easy in the gusts and the chop was horrendous.

A day only enjoyable for FB short of owning a 3.3m.

Traffic on the way home was almost as bad.

It's hard to believe but despite the warm weather and strong wind it was not amazing. This direction caused heavy chop from two directions spoiling it. Also as soon as it became cloudy the wind was all over the place. Still good to be out, this morning was better though.
