Is it going to drop off a bit? This is the most consistent wind we've had since Labor Day. I'm itching to go for a sail but I think my 4.5 is going to be too big to handle.
Cocornichon - I am not the most experienced on sailing spots in Perth but here's some info:
The Woodman Pt turnoff (O'Kane Cr - look it up on Google maps) is just after the lighthouse on Cockburn Rd heading south - you get on to that then take the 1st left and then 1st right on to Woodman Point View Rd - then go to the end by the pumping station, then take a left, and on to the end where there is a car park at the groyne. Windsurfers tend to launch off the beach to the right of the groyne.
Crazy Waves works in a big NWly. Its a bit more W today so might be a bit difficult to get out of the shore break? Don't take my word for it though - I've only sailed there once (in the last big blow - stuck my harness hook through my 5.0m2 when I got caught out in a squall coming in and hammered by a succession of 45 knot gusts!).
Far as I can tell Mike it's too cold for them now. The water is clear right now but with a bit of a flush it may cloud a bit with run off from the farms. I did the walk of shame the other day and did'nt come across any cobblers, or crabs for that matter.
