Thanks to the two guys who helped out my brother after he got nailed in the bottom of his foot yesterday at Dutchies by a Cobbler. (3 feet from water edge washing gear on the way out of the water heading home for my 40th B'Day party that he had flown in from Sydney for, but hey, that is another story).
Long story short he ended up in Freo hospital on morphine and bunch of other goodies till 11 pm last night. To give you an idea on the pain scale these stings are he has several water blisters on his foot as he couldnt tell the difference in temp of hot water v's pain from the sting.

Cnidoglanis macrocephalus
Habitat: Marine bays, inlets, lower-mid estuaries.
Grows to: About 91cm and 2.6kg.
Reproduction: Matures at about 40cm and two
and a half years. Nests in burrows.
Life span: Around 13 years.
Features: Slender body, eel-like tail, flat head with
four pair of barbels around mouth. Venomous
spine in dorsal and pectoral fins.
