Crazy? Maybe, but I don't get why we don't have more people go out on a day like this. It was absolutely brilliant yesterday and I wouldn't want to miss a day like this.

Even if you just try for 10 mins you can learn so much and slowly get used to strong wind conditions like this and the reward will be worth it. Obviously sail within your limits and get the right gear and clothing.

Most of the Perth locals went down to Geeries yesterday.

Thanks for the vid Lao the quality came out great considering how windy it was.
Yeah Geeries would have been the go but I was to busy with the family so could only go local late in the afternoon. To be honest I think I did more swimming than sailing as I lost my gear so many times during that session.

Dutchies can be fun in a WSW provided you are not to over powered and there is not to much weed in the water, unfortunately this was not the case in this session, the weed was the main issue as it was mainly around the area where you would ride the waves.
