Hi guys I've doing some reseearch about Cocos Island and it looks pretty good. I'm thinking to move there and stay for about 2 or 3 months, but I still have some doubts. Does anybody could help me with this questions please?

- When the windsurfing season starts? Around April / May ??

- I know that is mostly slalom windsurfing in a lagoon, what sail size do you usually do? Or how many knots on average?

- Very important, what about bringing you own gear? Is there any place to storage it?

- Does anybody know about how is it to get a job there (bar, cafe, instructor, etc)? Is it possible to have like a windsurfing and work life stye, meaning working and the go sailing almost everyday?

Thank you for your help, eny information is going to be very usefull !

- When the windsurfing season starts? Around April / May ?? - Generally July - Sept

- I know that is mostly slalom windsurfing in a lagoon, what sail size do you usually do? Or how many knots on average? - 16 - 22kn fairly average, but can get a lot stronger

- Very important, what about bringing you own gear? - Yes you can but excess baggage can be a nightmare at times. Is there any place to storage it? - Yes, join the yacht club ($65?) and store your gear there.

- Does anybody know about how is it to get a job there (bar, cafe, instructor, etc)? Is it possible to have like a windsurfing and work life stye, meaning working and the go sailing almost everyday? - Don't know about getting work its only a small place so there's not many jobs, accommodation and food is expensive.

Thank you for your help, eny information is going to be very usefull !

Go see Jez at second wind. He has a place there. He might even need an instructor for his Holliday guests. August September would be best I think. Leave your gear at the beach it wont go anywhere unless the crabs carry it away.

Don't need to be one
