A big thank you To Reg of Windsurfing Perth and Col of Helifotos for a fantastic day yesterday. Amazing to be sailing so close to an incredibly skillfully flown heli.

Here is a shot of the big man and the camera team in action.

It could not happen without the dedication of the ladies holding the speed gun, Anne Marie and Melissa and Julie and Kelly recording the speeds. They spent the day getting covered in sand for our fun. You are great!

For some reason the link to the facebook photo went all pixellated? Uploaded to SB instead www.facebook.com/pages/Windsurfing-Western-Australia/136631579752572

Mr Lockwood was top speed at 64 Km/hr (34.5 Knts) but the gun was on a very tight line. A number of others very close behind. GPS speeds of 34+ knots were the norm amongst the top tier.
