Will there be a shuttle bus to get back to ledge point after the race?

Is anyone heading up for the paddle event that is:
A) running a ski trailer
B) wants to do a car shuffle
C) is willing to give us a lift back to the start to get the car?

We wont be having a bus, we had one last year but only 3 people used it. That's why we've set this thread up.

just a bit of friendly feedback. Why take up half the parking lot with the race registration tents??
For years they were up next to the public toilets and it worked really well. Just a suggestion that's all.

That may have been the case - but no LOC staff knew about it... I asked this exact question multiple times.
Luckily some nice Windsurfing WA / Perth locals, gave me a lift.

Edit: I do understand that there is a lot of info to communicate - this post isn't a criticism, just an example of possibly why it wasn't used. Having a public-thread is a good idea.

Totally agree! Myself and 2 others including an overseas sailor spent an hour asking every volunteer and all the regulars about this shuttle bus. No one knew anything about it and the regulars says it doesn't exist. That overseas guy end up walking all his kit halfway towards town before someone gave him a lift back to Ledge.

In previous years, competitors have had a free-entry to the Tavern as been part of their event-entry.
Is it the same this year, or do we need to purchase an ticket ?

Free entry to the tavern was stopped 3 or 4 years ago.

With a bus back to the start I could have a spare seat. Without a shuttle I will have to bring an extra person to drive my car back.

Any chance the WindsurfingWA and AWA (and other clubs) insured list, can be given to the registration crew ... so that we can prove that we are insured ?

I'll have an empty car going from Lancelin to ledge , seats 4. Pm me
