An Important film screening of an awesome movie which reflects the spirit of the great sport of windsurfing including the Windsurfer Class. The "battle of the boards" is a brilliant expression of the sentiments of this film as that is the premise of the Swan River Festival of Windsurfing planned later this year starting 31 December 2021- 3 January 2022..The battle of the boards events promise high octane racing, fun and enjoyment where Windfoil, Wingfoil, Slalom (finned) boards, Bic Techno, Raceboard and Windsurfer Class will compete in slalom, course racing and marathon on the same start line and courses including special courses for slalom for strong afternoon Fremantle Doctor sea breezes designed by a renowned veteran Swedish windsurfer....Notice of Race coming soon....

The trailer looks sick. Should be a great film. Unfortunately I doubt they will show it here where I live on the Central Coast of NSW. When my local cinema showed ''The longest wave'',only myself and 3 mates turned up !!!!!
Not too many windsurfers around these parts which is good in a way......more waves for me !!!!!
