Hey all,

My good friend wants to start windsurfing and wants me to teach him, however, the largest volume board I have is a 99ltr, which he insisted he would master! So after weeks and weeks of torment from him, I took him out and of course it was an epic fail!!!

So, I was just wondereing if any of you guys have an old learner board hanging around (or something that he could at least stand on) that we could maybe borrow for a few days in exchange for a carton of your choice of course, so he can get the feel of it.

We are SOR but prepared to drive to pick up and deliver after use, or maybe meet us at melville beach as thats where we will be going.

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks guys

There is a free Cobra race board in the buy and sell, even better it is in Melville.

I was going to grab it a couple of weeks ago but ran out of time

Why does'nt your mate go to second wind one weekend and get lessons and stop the frustration ,he will learn much faster and will be blasting in no time...

At least when he is taught properly he will be on the water faster....So When you teach him to windsurf how the hell is he going to afford to buy gear ...

Well, thanks guys for your input.

I actually went and picked the free cobra board up, (thanks for your suggestion Mark) as money is an issue at the moment for my buddy, so if he can learn the old school way (as i did) and just get a feel for it without full on lessons, then he is a happy chappy!!!!

I would be more than happy for others to use this board as and when they need it, as it is the perfect learners board, with straps etc, just give me a tinkle if you know of anyone that it may help!!

Thanks again guys!!
