It was pretty big. Timing was essential when heading out. There were a few surfers in the water which added to the challenge especially with the afternoon glare.
Sorry Bertie [}:)] was just curious Filth did you go to H Bay? We stopped at Lano, looked messy lumpy, got to Wedge at 3pm I'd say over head with some 3/4 bombs coming through. Cross off. Bit of weed.
Grrrrr Just spoke to Green Eggs Hmm Good question, Good company in the car, only 3 out = no crowd factor, stronger wind, cross off, no kooks, no surfers, no rocks, easy parking. As Gazza said.... quote " I had one wave that felt like a Gnarloo wave"
Yeh Mike. Hbay, Was pretty good but the waves werent huge. head high to a bit over head... maybe 1/2 mast in the sets I am not too sure. Got better as the tide came in. Was fully lit on 4.7
Definately more wind north of Perth. And yeh only 3 of us out made for a solid couple of hours.
Nice photo! You must be loving the Subi? I miss mine. I had a lonely sesh Monday gone. 4.5m fully lit. Should have gone the 4.2m. Some crazy jumps until it went SSE and then it was down the line fun
