hi gestalt didn't you mean kfc do you really have a day job i'm starting to notice you popping up everywhere in here. as it happens i was using a x1 25 on sunday (not sure if its got evo on it but its brightly coloured thats got to count for something)1st time its been wet, was using it on a mint condition 8'6" wave board however the board is probably 15 years old so probably can't compare. i've allways used a wave fin in those conditions and was quite happy with it

yeah i have a day job, also have a night job

i had a few minutes between work and snooker out the back.

everyone seems to like the X1, i'm looking at the latest model....... i need a new fin, always like the MFC fins but everyone seems to rave about the X1 so thought i'd ask.

probably just get a 2k and stick with a brand i know and trust.

they are more expensive and no-one seems to have anything to say about them other than what's on the MUfins website.

at least with MFC all of the fins i've used or own fee lgreat so it's a sure thing almost.

the X1 evo seems to tick a lot of boxes by it's description and it's cheaper than the others. people seem to have good things to say about it on this forum.

currently i don't own a 24cm powerbox fin so need to get one. this summer is wave sailing summer.

x1 to x1 evo didnt really seem to change

Go the x1/evo gestie you won't be disappointed and i'm not just saying that cause i'm a select man- they really are awesome fins and they aren't quite as mabo as your current fin . The last mfc wavefin I had was bloody good but the x1's leave it for dead.

On a side note they are bloody tough also, I hit the rocks recently on waveboard- put hole in board but fin just bounced over the top with hardly a scratch- was worried there for a bit that i'd smashed up one of my favourite fins.

Ask santa for a x1 evo 25cm and you love him long time

oh how cheap are the mfc's and x1's?

Last i checked the MUF's were only $140 delivered. I'm still thinking of getting one, but possibly may be changing boards as well so gonna wait and see.
