something between an aerial wave 360 and goita.

yeah actually now i remember him going for one in the windsurfing movie.
he kind of throws the sail though as he launches to get that tweaked position.
sick indeed!

when I saw him going for them last year it was just like a normal guscrew but he throws his head back and arches his back, looks awsome but must be very disorientating. Looks like hes hitting the section a little later now to make it back into the wave, reminds me of the days back in the early 90s when he invented the wave 360 ( they were called wanguroos back then) sh%$# Im starting to sound like grandpa simpson now

After watching that vid, I think the standard in Maui has gone backward slightly.

Don't get me wrong, there was two or three really big smacks but a lot of little rail bogs throughout. Maybe they are going too small in their boards.

remember that that filming for that blog isnt cut up into split second shots of a big smack or a wave 360 or whatever (as you see in a vid) it shows more of the whole wave, which probably shows it in more of a true light. The boys over there are still ripping, especially when it gets big.

I reckon that they have cut it down to the best bits and the best bits in this vid isn't that impressive.

I'm just thinking that they may be going to far with the short wide board shapes because there wave riding skills look to be going backwards.

Naish and Pritchard are still heaps powerful sailors, it's good to see old school style and new school.
