i would not be surprised.


philosophically, same feature as the twin with more drive, better grip and increased lift and upwind performance.

it's interesting that a lot of surfers swear by quads but the thruster cornered the market.

I'm thinking it will go upwind real good, twinnies do already with half the fins, a new set of fins is going to cost a hell of a lot.

Ma have you sailed the new board yet?

wow, twinnies have suddenly become soooo last month

looks like it has 4 footstraps out on the edges is this the new secret speed/slalom/wave board with fish tail? by god they've just invented the ultimate board! will it slide backwards ok?

hmmmmm. maybe it is the first ever jp directional kiteboard?

I googled "quad fin" and found they have really taken off with surfboards last couple of years. Especially in big waves.

So you'd have to buy four fins to tweak a board? or perhaps two, leaving "the other two" in place? Or how about asymetrical finning for port vs starboard beaches?

I've been working on this design for about 3 years and I just made a board for Kauli to try out. So the board you see is one I gave Kauli in order to get some feedback on the quad fin setup.
