Never never ever share a wave with Greeny he is well known for doing the "BOB"
and for that reason never never ever catch the wave behind Greeny as I said before he is well known for doing the "BOB"

Like I said before... I like to throw myself all over the wave.
I like to 'bob' around right infront of the 'off the lip' section.

Had an awesome wave with King of the Point up in Gnaraloo last year.
Had a beer and a good laugh afterwards.
Couple of nice big cross overs... one rider does one half of the figure 8 and the other fills in the other side.
It's sensational being able to sit up high on the wall watching the other guy carve off the bottom turn and drive on up to the lip... which you of course then have to follow/replicate.

I certainly would not recommend wave sharing with someone you don't know... or if you don't know how they can sail in that situation.

As a group when we go on a trip we often share waves BUT we have been sailing together for years and everyone is up for it. It's when other riders think they can join in (or simply snake or drop in) that the problems arise.
We also make a rule of calling on... or calling off if you are not up for it.

Well as the Greenroom is always going for new radical moves he doesn't always make it and he ends up just BOBBING around in the zone. The amount of times I have started to bottom turn and theres the little fella just bobbing up and down adjusting his outhaul, gazing at the sun, buffing his finger nails, praying, peeing, innapropriately laughing out loud. Who knows what he's doing.

went out at main break at 3:30, sailed for 30-45min, then went down to passage, sailed till about 5:30, then when back up to mainbreak, sailed to 7:30/7:45 - we talking saturday right?

Unless that was you with the dreadies? but i didnt think it was you, I was using a blue loft sail.

We would have crossed paths.
I did passage to mains then back to passage at the same time you did

The trick is to sail all day and not get caught out (ie) by putting your self in a postion where mate can use you as target practice.

But if you see some one /a mate on the inside or caught out sharing is caring.

Hey Langy it was a case of the the first point of note... but with so many quality waves on offer and the ability/option of doing a few cross overs it certainly was not an issue for me... and as i recall we had a good laugh both on the wave and in the car park over a beer later !

Of course had I called the wave I am sure you would have left it... or maybe not
In the end it was well and truly worth it.

Always good to share the stoke !

Yes mr windwarrier i dont remember drowning anyone at the end of the wave, and or getting a boom in the back of the head and or a board run over and slash me.

Wes were like Robby Naish AND Jason Polokow in the VIDEO YOU KNOW THE ONE at hookipia (Born to rock ) opps that was a pryde video in 1969er

Im not sure who was who (dosnt matter ) wes carved that wave up like the bodies found in bank in the barrels at Snow town.
