Wavesailing at Melville?

So this is getting further along for approval, but I did notice in the concept photo that the pool and wave angle would be perfect cross off for wavesailing in a seabreeze that would be the left hander for anyone who don't know where Melville is in Perth and the bay behind is a super popular flat water spot and gets heaps of wind in summer, the wind would be coming from the bottom left hand corner

Do you think you could pay a little more to take in wave gear instead of a surfboard? I'm sure the surfers would love it..

I can't see it happening though, it is in millionaire's row, they are all opposing it and they are the sort of people who can influence Govt.

Not sure how I follow how this will work in a seabreeze. Assuming the mock-up is accurate, aren't the waves heading toward the bottom of the picture, in which case sailing in the same direction as the wave would be almost pointing into the wind.
