I think the problem with a kite is the speed required to make the wave. Looks like all the guys with directionals and no straps are struggling.

Just when we thought it wasn't possible for anyone riding big Teahupoo, on anything, to look lame...these baggers have managed it.

Oh look I'm about to go over the falls of the monster and be driven into the reef!!!...but no, nothing to worry about here as my trusty parachute whisks me out of harms way.
