So the first day on Sat was not too bad with small to medium swell and wind for a good part of the day. Managed to complete Womens and Juniors heats and finals. Have uploaded pics to website - www.whitecapsphotography.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=11048664

Tomorrow and Tues looking pretty good at Windang and with the quality of sailors here there is going to be some tough competition.

Day 3 was pretty frustrating bet everyone got a freesail at Windang in mostly shoulder high conditions. Wind a little patchy so judges call it a day after attempting a couple of Masters Heat.
Day 4 was better with Windang turning it on. Got most of the way through the Pros and its down to Oliver Barta and Warren Holder to contest the Masters. Duncan Osborne took the Amateurs title in a close final against Tim W. Final for the ladies was run as well with Qld's Renarta Fuzaletti (excuse spelling) taking the final against WA's 17 year old Kanza Stott. Some awesome waves, some of the sets logo high. Highest scoring heat of the day was between Dan Berry NSW who managed 2 aerials on the some wave and Stuart Martin who was a serious threat despite his years away from sailing.

Thursday looks good for NE and waves at Gerroa and even Saturday should work to run a seond round.

More details to come but check out Whitecaps website for some excellent pics from the comp.

cheers
Tim

I was wondering how long it would take Stewie to start ripping again after all those years Kiting, was thinking a year though not a few months.

Any more photo's? we are all keen to keep up to date with what's going on over there..

The double elimination was finished today. The wind was light and the wave's were half mast on the sets. Tobes and I decided to pushed hard to get it finished as the swell was too die off over the next few days. In the Masters "one knot" Warren Holder 1st, Jason Cater 2nd and Oliver Barta 3rd. In the Open Pro's, Jaeger Stone 1st, Ben Severne 2nd, Dan Berry 3rd and Andrew Morris 4th. The final was contested in very light condition just on dark. Unfortunately jumps were not counted. Jodi is sifting through thousands of photos so keep an eye out over the next few days for them.
Tommorrow and Saturday we will hold an expression session for those who hang around.
