Neilpryde/JP are the headline industry sponsors this year and Sam from WindsurfnSnow has also come on board. Thanks all.
(I put in a couple of outside industry sponship requests but money seems a little tight. If potential outside sponsors can see the "bang they get for their buck" maybe next year....)
Anyway thanks again for the support

Excellent! Whatever people say about brands not putting money back into the sport, you can certainly say that NP/JP support a massive number of events in Australia.

Thanks must also go to WindsurfnSnow, without them, windsurfing would be a very different sport in NSW.

Cheers

I would second that. The amount of work and support Sam and his team have put into the sport in the last few years goes above and beyond. Given they are the only proper windsurf store between Brisbane and Melbourne they could easily just sit there and wait for people to come into the store. (Actually I think there is one in Newcastle and another in Canberra... but Canberra doesn't really count ;-) )

But instead they have repeatedly supported and put on events as well as supported up and coming talent.

I third that! Sam is driving a 2 hour round trip from his shop just to lend us 2 boards and rigs to teach venturer scouts today and thats on top of already loaning us gear and supplying manpower to help teach them.

THANKS WindsurfnSnow for supporting our fantastic sport at a grass roots level too.

Yep totally agree - Sam (WindSurfnSnow) has always great supporter of Windsurfing in all forms and as wavesailors we thank you Sam for all your support. Always a friendly, helpful and all round nice guy and a gun sailor and paddler.

There was a nice article on Sam in the Manly Daily today too; although calling him a 'veteran' makes me feel old. Thanks again Sam and WindSurfnSnow/JP/NP.
