I think segments have been shown in different spots... however, the post which includes these videos on the UMI web site is dated 24/08/11

It was me that posted the link to the webmag back then. As I said, just letting you know it is now available directly on Vimeo. I thought about putting it on the end of the original thread - will do next time.

Yeah I have seen it before too but I just had to watch it again and again.

I counted 19 bottom turns on that last wave. Talk about muscle memory training.

That is one unbelievable spot. I wonder if it happens regularly or if it is was a one off swell?

awesome video

love the fact that its not a wave that will set the world on fire- but the level of windsurfing makes it so entertaining to watch.

Super high performance - love the takas and slides

just goes to show that its not all about having monster throwing lips - but its what you do with the wave that counts.

sweet as.

I saw it before but amazing video. They can sometimes beat him in jumping but the fluidity of his wave riding is number 1 hands down..

They say that that ride was about 1.5 Km and that maybe a couple of times a year a bigger swell comes through that runs about 2 Km all the way to the pier.

For Kauli its a playful wave and he just reads it and takes what he can from it. Maybe on the bigger wave he could get a lot more turns, as he had to wait a lot for that wave to reform.

I think he's a goofy footer, but he's brilliant on both tacks.
