so we just bough a new mast for our skiff .. we only buy the carbon stick and add spreaders /fitting and al the rest .... we run on 28( stiffness and bend ..) then we get sails cut to work with the mast .. if my sails is 21 imcs .. ya reckon it would work on a 21imcs stick from a composites store ? what makes thies sailwork/nielpryd/naish mast so expensive and good .. we only paid 700 dollars for the carbon stick ( 6m long and 100% carbon ) ..??

i mean y does a sailworks speedstick ( 5.5m /100% carbon) COST $ 1,426.00
DOUBLE THE COST OF MY NEW SKIFF MAST ......so y does a sailworks mast cost 700 dollas more than a carbon stick witch is longer and the same carbon content? how can that be ...?

Because I'll bet my left testicle that your skiff mast doesn't come with a pretty sticker at the base telling you how long it is and how much carbon it contains.

well, now you mention it. masts that come without stickers on them are cheaper. i htink it's called a manufacture error.
