Hi Peto. It's been a great early season down here with some pretty nice surf at times, although now that I think about it my kites have been out more than my pole. Had some good sessions this week,... big Windang on Monday, nice sized Gerroa on Tuesday and a solid southerly today at Wanda. I am in the middle of 3 months holiday, so I hope there is more to come.

I will be up visiting my folks after x-mas, so I might see you about.

It been good here the last few weeks in the gong no doubt but i'd hardly call it typical summer weather. We've been getting 2-3 big southerlys a week lately. I can't remember having so many in such a short space of time for years. NE'rs have been a bit on the lean side...not working here that well, they have been at Gerroa and syd though. The Gong seems to at times fall into a NE'r black hole, you can see it cranking 400m off shore but nothing at the beach. The hang glider dudes around here reckon it has something to do with temperature inversion....nfi.

Not that i'm complaining. Had some cranking swell and wind this arvo :D

been pretty average/weird so far in sydney. Had a few really strong noreasters using a 4.2 but not many normal 20kters to speak of. last week was the best by far, tuesday I think, 4.8 and half to 3/4 mast. I got out early which was lucky as it all died at 4.30 for no apparent reason. like i said, weird so far

Gday BRIEN. 3 months off work! Thats sweet. Will you bring your gear when you come up? It would be good to catch up.

JPD - as MA said get in touch with us and we'll go for a sail or a beer. Whatever.

And DONK, congrats on the second little fella! And MA is right you need to have a sail with us. But I can't imagen how busy you prob are right now.

QWERTY, the new board ripping is it?

Hope Santa arrives with some more wind for the rest of summer.

Congrats on the new fella Donk and best wishes to the Missus.

Peto I will try to squeeze my pole gear into the car but it is getting pretty crowded these days with the little fella and 3 dogs. I think I need roof racks for x mas.

Yo Donk - ex aussie champ, im thinken D. Berry.....where were you? it was gusty N/NE but got more consistent as the arvo went on. Birdie again produced a 2ft fun wave whilst the rest of the region was as flat as an asian female... However i got the ****s with my sailing and went home after an hour and a half. Still put a smile on my face though...esp watchen ma, cotto and pugs given it a good go. Actually i saw pugs shred the crap out of one. The Tabou suits him.
