Looking for recommendations for large shallow clear water freestyle locations around SEQ with good wind.
sandstone point, burrum heads are 2 that come to mind. looking for other suggestions.

I've sailed weyba.
not a huge fan of the lakes. Water is murky, wind is gusty and they are pretty choppy.
I've spent many hours sitting around waiting for wind at the lake. May as well do that at Caloundra.

Mr Keen, its halfway between GB n Military Jetty. Only works on the biggest tides. Otherwise its a great learners zone. Shallow n short runs

Cheers, thought so. Have looked there before and did think too shallow. Might break out the delta on the right tide next big SE

If the tide wad a bit later on Sunday id be there.
I use a 24cm freestyle fin in my board for when its shallow.

There's 20 knots on the cards.
to be honest I've windsurfed every weekend since Xmas. I just do what suits the forecast.

Todays tides wouldve been the pick. But no real wind. They drop quickly now. Leaving the window of opportunity very small. Shallow very short runs... having everything align doesn't happen often.
