The bodyboarder shouldn't have been there in first place. There is another break a little bit further in which is 100% sheltered from the wind. There was no need for him to ride the white water out at the point.

Before everyone had a big cry about me running over the bodyboarders. He is my mate and knows what's going on. I actually bailed out of the turn as I thought I had a chance of landing on him so I crashed out in front of him instead of landing on him. He came up laughing at me
