Hi Guys,

My name is Paul from Maroubra and I have recently bought a Phantom 4 drone and am starting to compile footage mainly around Gerroa and maybe some Sydney stuff to hopefully make a video towards the end of the summer. If you sail at Gerroa and see a drone hovering around I hope you don't mind! I also sail so hopefully will get out there too.

This is just a hobby project but I'll be stoked to try and get you on film so we have a good memory for the future!

If any of you on here have a problem with this plan please let me know because I don't want to create any problems. Also if you are sailing and see the drone filming, give a wave or throw a double... I want good footage!

Today the swell was up and the wind was gusty!

Nice footage, that is me, haha. I got to the lip slightly too late and had to bail. I hit the bottom hard on that one and my gear remained in one piece. Cheering.

Looks like it was bowling pretty good.
