Has anyone tested the Fanatic Quad TE 2015 89L against the Quatro Cube 90L 2015?
I am interested in detailed behaviour and feeling in terms of capacity for early planning, speed, lightness on the water, turn and control. Anyone able to share some insights, very appreciated.
Note, for the type of conditions, I am based in Sydney and I weight 83Kg.

I'm riding the 2015 Fanatic Quad TE 89L this season and it absolutely rips. The board is really quick to plane - yet the rocker and outline allow you to stay really tight in the pocket when riding the wave. Best of both worlds! Works in 8 knots and equally well when it's 25 knots ( I weigh about 85kg). Forrest and Brett have been riding this shape over the last year at Gerroa and you only need to look at the way they sail to know the boards work. I'll be at Gerroa Fest next weekend if you want to demo mine.

Last two posts say it all. The Quatro and Fanatic quads are usually the two most highly regarded.
So good luck Miguel.

As for me, I think my RRD WaveCult quad is the best ever, Fanatics fall to bits and Quatro have too much rocker (but the LS quad (now Cube) is probably way better and that's why they p!ssed off the KT model)

somehow I did not get the notifications of your replies, so, apologies for my lack of responsiveness.
your feedback is great and really useful and accurate.
i have had a ride on the fanatics with great feeling and decided to invest in these, and looking forward to ride this summer.
i should have taken the time to try the quatro's, but loved the overall planning ability and easy turning of the fanatic so jumped on the eaten without thinking too much.

I had so much fun riding this board that I decided to invest in ti, and have found a new feeling of excitement after being frustrated with boards that did not suit my style or stance before. It's funny how boards change from year to year in construction and behaviour, making it an exercise close to wine tasting, except it's not that easy to try these boards before buying. My lesson learned is from now onwards to try before buying! Thank your for your valued feedback.

Ive got the 90 ltr quatro cube,have have sailed it wirh 4.2 up to 5.7 ,have had it in small to med waves and it really perfomed well,it planed early good speed and jumped well,for 90 ltr still quite narrow so turned well.im very happy with it cheers

I have a 2014 110 Cube Quad and after now riding it in a variety of conditions I can say that it is an excellent board. I really can't fault it other than to say that due to the volume you feel the slap if you don't land jumps spot on. It is the first production board I've ridden that does not feel tuned down. I assume the smaller sizes are at least as good.

just my pennyworth regarding "Fanatics fall to bits". I bought 2 RRD Wave Cults (75/83L) - both bases delaminated from the boards. Word on the beach here in West Oz is that RRD's don't last. In my personal experience with Fanatics, I have a Skate from 2006 that gets a lot of use, and is still going strong. I would be very reluctant to buy RRD again. For me, Fanatics seem to be bombproof!

I have 2015 Quatro cube 98 litre board is very easy to ride ,turns great on wave, little sticky to get going
in lighter wind .I use with 5.7, 5.0, 4.7 . This board is also King Of The Point approved he loves it .
Try one then buy one

I also had the TE 75 was rad fast and loose 88 was good for light big fat waves but the quad for me at 85 kgs is been strong and reliable loads of photos riding it in solid conditions just love it hope this helps

oh and the jp 92 quad rocks too the new model
