Psycho Saturday Moffatt's reef
Watched this spot for days before conditions calmed down enough to sail it.
Feeling sick with nerves which I'd never had before sailing Max psyched us up to give it a go.
Impact vests and Gaths on
we payed our dues with a few beatings getting through the beachy, made it to the reef scratching over mountain like swell which was breaking about 200 metres wider than normal.
The first wave caught I quickly realised I had a metre too much sail and probably could have done with 20L less board but there was no going in to change once out there. The waves where that fast it was hard to get down the face to bottom turn so just had to mid face turn and race down the line and hope you didn't catch a rail.
Was really just survival sailing out there no crazy turns or jumps with consequences to high but was still an amazing rush riding the biggest waves I've ever encountered.
The GoPro pics don't do it any justice

Sunday session swell dropped but still super windy Tim on way in from Moffatt's reef on a 4.0

Morning surfs up Noosa
Monday fun day

Conditions back to normal sailed Moffatt's headland with Tim and Martin.
Cheers OMA!!!
