I put up a photo of the bar from Sunday for those who haven't seen it. This was pretty light wind. It can be a great spot.

Gee, more boards than kites. Last time I was there it was just kites - a gazillion of em.

Hey Gesty - what about a WW meet there. Line up a nice swell, a south easter and a low incoming tide. ooooh...

Yep 7 the weekend before we had it all to ourselves....hopefully there will be some swell to sail there this wkend as well

there is also talk of starting up a wave wanderers club on the sunny coast.

good to see highrise development has been halted at 12 storeys by 10 km wide and 5km back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the wind directions wrong. SW will be overland.

No SW is fantastic IF it is strong. In August the west winds are great

I'm just guessing starboarder. I haven't sailed there in a sw wind. Locals have told me GB is rs in a westerly as you would expect, but the bar is a bit different. It has more fetch and the sand bars are pretty low.
