I am 61kg intermediate as well, beginner at waves, i had a chance to try a 2017 goya quad 74lt last year, i really liked it, a great board, i found it had more control, softer over chop and generally easier on the wave compared to my 2020 goya custom 3 75lt. Just slightly later planing and need to get out of footstraps more often when not planing due to thinner tail but these are very little compromises compared to other plus sides imo. Top speeds were similar, maybe slightly heavier due to 4 fins. I would have got the 68lt 2017 if they had available. Graphics are beautiful too.
Thanks for the info! Can I ask what sail sizes you used with the 74 goya quad and approximiate wind? I'm really looking for the board that gives me control in the gorge when conditions are 3.0-3.7. Thanks for the help, greatly appreciate the info.
